The narrator is in the middle of a conversation with an Indian woman when he hears someone shout for help. The Indian woman tells him that he is an underwear thief and that he should throw away the stolen goods. The narrator tells the Indian woman that he has told her that he does not steal underwear and that she should just give up on the whole thing. He tells her to run and hide and then he will explain the whole story to her later.
