The scene opens in the utility room of the apartment where ulla is staying with her father. ulla falls asleep on the couch and wakes up to find that her father has left the apartment and gone to his hotel. She is worried that she is not a good match for xo, but ulla reassures her by pointing out that she has found old photos of xo and that they have nothing to do with her. She then asks xo why he hit her, and xo tells her that he does not need to worry about her past. She tells him that she wants to see her future with him.
