Mr. Archer and his wife have just returned from a trip to India, and they are overjoyed to be reunited with their child. They are excited about the prospect of their child's arrival, but they are also worried about the time it will take them to prepare a gift for their son. They decide to write a letter to express their love for their child, and express their hope that the child will grow up to be a good person. The letter ends with the protagonist wishing his parents well and saying that he is not alone in his search for love.
