The Boy from the Future

In this chapter, we meet a young man who has just graduated from high school. He is described as a "fit model" , and we learn that he is a member of the Brotherhood. We learn that the Brotherhood is a religious organization dedicated to the salvation of all men. The young man, who goes by the name of "click-click," is very close to the Brotherhood's leader, Maule. Maule tells the young man that he and the other Brotherhood members have been friends since middle school, and that Maule is a "bit weird" but a "genuine and loyal" man. The two men are very close, and Maule says that he has known Maule for a long time, but Maule has not yet told them the details of what happened in middle school.
