The narrator tells us that the food at the Rourourou restaurant is just like real food, except that it's served in the middle of the night. The narrator says that he's waiting for his grandfather, who's staying with the family. He's happy to be back in the real world, because he hasn't been happy in a long time. He tells his mom to stop drinking and to treat the family with respect. He doesn't want to give them anything, he says, because they're not in a good enough relationship to deserve it. He says that the other uncles have had a lot of lovers, but that their father loves him only. He didn't marry her because he wanted to be a good man. He wanted to erase all of his moral flaws. He wants to be pure for the woman he married, but he doesn' t want her to live with him. The next episode preview shows that there's a commotion outside the mourning hall, and the maid angrily asks why she can't come inside. The maid's assistant says that she's sorry to hear that, and that she can go inside.
