The chapter opens with a discussion between the two men. The elder man tells the younger man that he is in charge of the project and that he will have to deal with the problems that will arise from the project. The younger man tells him that the project will not be successful because of the problems caused by the fish. He tells the older man that they need to discuss the matter with the young man first.
