About This Chapter
The narrator tells the young man that his next assignment is to go to the train station and observe the people around him. He hopes that he will learn to observe people so that he can better understand the real life of others. He tells him that his first aunt has warned her not to enter into any business with the company and that he should try to marry if it is possible. The narrator then tells the boy that his parents will not blame him for being too nervous. He says that he did not meet his father until he was younger and that his brother and he refused to do anything against his father's will. He wants to be with her now, but it is too early to talk about his future.
