The narrator is mopey because he wants to know what's going on with his love. He asks her to wipe his eyes, which she does, and then he asks her if she'd like to play some kind of game with him. She's not into it, so he tells her that she should be careful, because he can "melt her" . He also tells her not to worry, because it's just a game, and she should just chill out and enjoy the game. She agrees, but then she asks him to be careful not to "melt" her, because then she will have to tell him all about her love, which he won't be able to do for a week. He says that he needs to focus on writing his novel, and that's why he'd rather not talk to him. He kisses her good-bye, and hugs her. She hugs him back, too, and tells him not to be too serious about her, since she can just stay with him and not worry about anyone else. He agrees, and they hug.
