In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named shigure. He is the protagonist of the story, and we are told that he has been suffering from a sudden pain in his back. He asks his friend, Kitam, if he is feeling well. He tells her that he is sorry that he missed so many of his classes, and that he will soon be able to catch up with his friend. He also tells her about how he fell in love with his childhood friend, Mizuno, a few months ago, and how he is now fighting with passion for her. He then tells his friend that his heart is pounding with passion, but that his emotions have cooled over, and he is ready to end his relationship with him. When he asks what he should do about lunch, he is told to stare at him, and when he does not respond, he tells him to stop staring at him and to stop making fun of him. He says that his life is being thrown into chaos by his friend's actions, and then he will not stop fighting. He orders his friend to carry him in his arms, and tells him that he must report to the president of the student council.
