About This Chapter
Okay, now that we've gotten to know each other a little bit, it's time for us to get to know one another a little better. We're not going to lie, we're a little bummed out that we haven't gotten to talk to each other in a while. Okay, so we know that you're bummed out, too. You're also bummed out because you've got a crush on a girl who's not even in your class, and you don't even know what to do about it. We know that's a little gross, but we'll take it. Anyway, the two of them decide to get together and have a bite to eat. They're cousins, and they're both super excited to see each other again. They eat some melon bread, and then they all head off to eat some more. We learn that the two are cousins, too, and that they've been playing a game together. Um, what's that all about? Well, it turns out that the game is called "The Count," and it involves stealing girls' hearts in order to win their hearts back. It's kind of like "The Princess Bride" , except instead of stealing hearts, you have to pretend to be a vampire to get them back. We also learn that there's no way to get back into the gym, and no one can even get into the room where the Count is supposed to be, either. So, yeah, the Count isn't in the gym anymore, and he's nowhere to be found either. The two decide to have a little chat about the Count, and the two decide that the Count's name is a vampire, and not a real vampire. They both realize that they can't be serious about each other
