The chapter opens with Tommo talking about how he wishes he could go anywhere. He feels like he can go anywhere, but he knows that he's still in the beginning stages of being omnipotent. He tells Tommo that he still has a long way to go before he can be omnipotent. Tommo tells him that he should celebrate himself for being able to do what he did. Then he tells him to "pluck" and "flump" , which is a fancy way of saying "swoop" . He's so excited that he doesn't even know where to start. He asks if he can ride in the car with the guys. They'll get him checked out, and then he'll be able to go wherever he wants to go. He also asks if the roots are growing any faster than they were when he was six years old. Turns out, according to the records, they've been growing at an average of 1 meter a day for the last six years. He says that means "true peace" has arrived. He and the guys are going to check out the roots again this Saturday.
