About This Chapter
It's time to go back to school, and Fushi asks his mom and dad if they'd like him to write a message to them in ninah , which is the language of the Israelites. Fushi says that he's never seen a written message in his native language, so he can't understand why his parents won't accept the message. He tells them to send him a letter instead, because there's no written message there. They'll be able to figure out where they can send the message later, and they can eat dinner together. They tell Fushi that they've seen the Oniguma again, and that it's been taken into custody. They also tell him that they saw something else on their way back, which they're going to show him later. It turns out that Fushi has defeated the Oni Guma, which means that he has lost the ability to control his emotions. He asks if they told him about the "smuggling bag" , but they don't. He begs them to let him die, and then they move the bag away from him.
