In this short scene, Hiromasa tries to convince Hiroto not to die and leave him. He tells him that he will always be with him, and that he can always come back to him if he wishes. He also tells Hiroto that if he dies one day, he will bring him back if he will stay with him for the rest of his life. Hiroto says that this is not what he meant, that he meant to say that if they die, he would bring them back if they would stay and live like him forever. He says that he is sorry that he has become like this, because not only is he not mortal, but he feels like he has destroyed everyones image of him. When he hears that someone has gone to help him, he cries out that he probably destroyed theirs, because he is not a mortal. He then tells them that they can all go back to their jobs as shumai, or housewives, and they can eat whatever they want, and he will name them time. He adds that he knows they will all be better for it, and says that they should come live with him
