The next morning, the group is still on the road, and one of the women asks why they're there. The woman replies that she's a "yanome" , meaning a member of the tribe, and that she was chosen because she was "so mean to me" . She also says that the tribe is so desperate for money that they'd use a fake "shaman" to trick the elders into believing that there's been a natural death. The women are horrified, and they decide to make a new doll out of her. They're going to wash the dog, too, and then they'll go off together.
