The wolf continues its search for the next stimulus. It does not transform into a bear, however, because its body is injured at every moment. Eventually, it reaches a familiar scent. The wolf tells the boy that he has been searching for the people for three days. He has lost his way and has to beg for food. The donkeys have run off, so he has to stay out in the rain.
