This is a locked chapter#36 Jananda: Island of the Free
About This Chapter
The next morning, Ganymede tells the others that he has found Tonari's body. He tells them that the tournament is over, and that he will return to the island. He says that the people of the island want to know who he is, and they can ask him to do whatever they want. He explains that the island is divided into three parts: the city, which is built around an arena; the church of Bennett, which surrounds the arena; and the city of Monjo, to the north and to the west. The city is mostly residential, he says, but there are some true believers left. They're probably trying to persuade the outside world that they are going above and beyond, and order are still their religious duties to keep an eye on here. Some people try to escape, but boats and supplies are limited so everyone gets mad. One of the self-governing activities is to take prisoners across the sea. This isn't a brand of prisoner, he explains, but it is the mark of an inmate's family. He also explains that serious offenders have specific restrictions, and he brought Ganyere on the ship to hang on. He doesn't like the look of the prisoners' faces, but Ganyevere also hung on a ship bound for jananda. Ganyeber agrees that this is not a good look, but he also says that he didn't try to kill him, but that he chose to hasten his own death.
