About This Chapter
It's been a long time since they've had a meal together, and now they're all wondering how long it will take to get to the point where there's no humans left or no noks. They're not sure how long that will take, but it's going to be a long, long time before there are no nokkers or no immortal warriors left. We're guessing it'll be at least a year or a hundred years before they reach that point. The only thing that makes us feel better about it is that it looks like Caius has already gone to heaven. Caius isn't sure what to make of this, but he's sure that Caius wanted them to play a game instead of a reality game. He wants to know why they didn't kill the noks in one go, and why they spent so much time tying Caius up. He's not sure why Caius is so upset. He blames Caius's left hand for the whole mess, and Caius apologizes, saying that his left hand shouldn't have done that to the other noks either. He also apologizes to Caius for not being able to protect him earlier, and asks him to tell him how he feels. He promises to protect Caius.
