About This Chapter
The doctor tells the prince that his daughter is dying and that he must hurry to save her life. The prince says that he cannot do anything about it, since he is a servant of God. The doctor says that those who die gain the right to do whatever they wish in life, and the prince says he wants to die. He asks the doctor if he wishes him to be miserable, but the doctor replies that he is sure that the girl wished to be happy with him. He says that she died when he was small, and that she is sure she would have liked to grow up in his company. He returns to the room where the prince wishes to speak with him, and asks the father if he can save his daughter. The father says he cannot, since the doctors, the church and the eastern devils have all tried to save the girl. He begs the prince to show him everything he can do, and he says that his only hope is that he can create something from nothing, since his only daughter is dead and he has no grand children yet. He then asks the prince if something is the matter, and when the prince replies that it is not, the father asks him if he has seen anyone from the castle. He tells him that he has, and says that the daughter is smiling beside the god of bennett. He thanks the prince for his help, and then asks him to tell fushi that he will be happy if he tells him
