About This Chapter
The wolf continues its search for the next stimulus. It does not transform into a bear, however, because its body is injured at every moment. Eventually, it reaches a familiar scent. The wolf tells the boy that he has been searching for the people for three days. He has lost his way and has to beg for food. The donkeys have run off, so he has to stay out in the rain. He asks the boy what he thinks when he turns into march. He tells him that even a monster has to have some kind of thoughts. He gives the boy a map and tells him to write a letter to his lover. The boy says that he does not know his name. He says that the sky is red in the place where they are going. He wonders if someone has paid his garden a visit. It looks like someone has come to his little garden. It cannot move his flesh, but it can hear his voice. He offers to give the boy advice at his intelligence level
