We are told that Mina's father, Hirokazu, has confiscated her phone and that she is now staying with her mother, who is also a student at the same school as Mina. The conversation between Mina and her mother is interrupted by the arrival of a young man, who introduces himself as "Koeda." The young man asks Mina to introduce himself to him, and Mina agrees.
