It's the third summer of Nemo and Nemo's life together, and he's bummed that he can't go to school with his friends. He's also bummed because he and his dad are going to different universities, so they won't see each other as often as they used to. Nemo says he'll try to change his feelings for her, and they talk a lot about how they're going to work hard together. Nemo asks if they can go to a festival together for his birthday this year, and she says she'd like to, too. She's late, but she's happy to be alone with him. She tells him to close his eyes and say something to him, like she did during their school trip. He says he wants to think about her everyday for a while, and that's why he picked up a pair of sunnies for her. He wants to give them to her. She says she doesn't wear sunnies much, but that she'll wear them anyway. She asks if she can return the sunnies, but he says they'll have to wait for the train to get there.
