The young narrator wonders if there is anyone like him in the world. He wonders if he will one day be able to meet someone like him. He goes to a station to see if he can find someone to befriend. He meets a young man who works part-time at a fair. The young man introduces himself as Tsugu and tells the narrator that he has come to support the young man in his new life. He tells him that he hopes he can understand the feelings of the people in the fair. He also tells the man that he will help him find a place to sit and have a seat. He offers to cook green tea for the man and tells him to bring it with him to the fair so that they can have a good meal together. He then offers to give the man a room to sleep in. He asks the man if he would like his father to worry about a ton of money. The man says that he would rather worry about his father's money than his own. The narrator asks him if his father would be worried about a big house. He says that his father is not worried about his house. Then he asks if he could have a hot pot of hot water for dinner. He is surprised to find that it is seven o'clock and that there is no hot pot to laugh at. Then the narrator asks if the man would like to have a drink. He replies that he does not. He adds that he is very flat and that his shape is so cute. He feels that there might be someone who would embrace him like him and he wonders if that might happen.
