"Connections and longing Athletic Forest Park till chatter go on" , the narrator tells us, is where the two of them are going to spend the weekend. He tells us that he wants to go there because it's where he first met Mina and she first met him. He's going to get some new clothes and change out of his old clothes so he can go to the park with her. He also tells her that they're going to be part of the "Kodama alliance" . Mina says that's a good idea, but she doesn't want to get too excited about it. She tells him to put on his wrist band so he won't hurt himself. She also tells him that her brother is going away to work and that he's in the middle of puberty. She asks him to stay with her, and he agrees. He says that his brother was a different kind of handsome guy from Mina, and that everyone loved him. Mina asks him why he still does the "kojima alliance" thing, but he says that he was scared and didn't know how to handle it. He asks her why she's always so nice to him, and she says that maybe because she is middle-aged. She says that she'd like to talk about it, too.
