That's the plan: the family will save the shop and buy some new machines. They've never been in business before, so they'll be able to make a profit. Uncle Duan isn't so sure. He's too conservative, he says, and the family's not used to using such tactics in the military. Duan says he's going to leave the next day, and that he won't do it again. He tells Duan not to worry, though, because he'll remember how kind Duan was to him. He says he doesn't want to kidnap the rich kid for Duan's sake, but he is a person who'll repay those who've helped him. So, if you're going to rob people, don't use the money to do it. He suggests that Duan come to the West to find him and take it back to the family. He didn't know he was so righteous, but Duan is so kind that he can't believe how kind he was. He asks Duan to come with him and be his "adjutant" , so that no one will dare to bully him. The second uncle says that little chu's clothes gave away when he entered the shop, and he was worried that if they got into a fight, he'd hurt Duan or his sister. So he washed and repaired his clothes and put them away for him to come back and get them. The shop is the last card of the family, and Duan will take care of it if something goes wrong.
