After all the merchant strikes, the General has finally come to terms with the fact that he will no longer have to go on strike. He and his fiancee go to the theater to watch a pageant. The General tells his fiancee to stop complaining and to give the people in the audience a smile. He tells her that the pageant is in the theater and that he is accompanying his little sister to the competition. He is providing costumes for the pageant and he has heard that the competition is being held because the organizers are looking for someone to play a female lead in their movie. He says that if he could work with the organizers for the movie and make sure that they choose her, then he would be able to make a lot of money.
