Back at the shop, the shop owner tells his employees that he's going to go for a walk in the park. He's not sure if he'll be able to make it, but he does know that he wants to go out and have a good time. He also tells them that his wife is pregnant, and he'd like her to have a baby soon. The shop owner also tells his dad that he has a day off from work today, which is rare for him. He asks his dad why he hasn't been to a public bathhouse before, and his dad says that it's a waste of time to go to such a place, since there aren't any public baths in France. He tells his son that he loves going to public baths, and that's why he wants him to go.
