In this short scene, we learn that Ching-Ming Hsu is a "gentleman" and not a gentleman, as we are told in the title of the first episode of the series. In this chapter, we are introduced to Ching-Minh-Hung Hsu, who is the "foreign boss" of the novel, and his son, Ching-Meo, who has come to live with him in his home country of Taiwan. Ching-Mih-Feng Hsu is the one who has allowed Ching-Mang Hsu to live in the house with him, and he is very proud of his son's success in his new home country.
