Next time they meet, Hiro wishes that he could tell Chris some good news. He wants him to be happy and to learn more about him. He tells him to come back with his suitcase and read some books together. He says that he learned more about Chris than he could have learned in the time he spent with him in Japan. When he sees his suitcase, he realizes that it is not his, but that of another man. He apologizes, saying that he got his suitcase without issue.
