The Governess tells her husband that she's been making him work extra hard, and she wants him to go home early so that she can finish her work. He agrees, and they go out for a bite to eat. The narrator tells the Governess that they're going to have crab tonight, and he's totally into it. He's so happy that he can't stop talking about it. The two of them head back to the document room, where they've been waiting for their father to come home from work.
