The narrator complains that he's not enjoying his life as much as he'd like. He wants to spend more time with moe, but he doesn't know how. He's worried that he won't be able to do so for a long time. He tells moe that he has a nice lunch prepared by his mother, and moe squeals with delight. The narrator worries that he shouldn't have told moe about the lunch ahead of time, because she's supposed to be at work. He also worries that moe might have been trying to please his mom by being nice to him at work, since she knows that albert is at work all the time. Aww, mom, you did all this for me. At least they'll be home together today, the narrator says. He wonders how he can make anything go right in his life, since everything seems to be falling apart. He asks albert if he could help him out with something. He has a lot of work to do before the next day, and he worries that it'll make him work late.
