In this short scene, we learn that Fred and Chris have not been able to visit each other since they went to visit his family in Japan two weeks ago. We learn that he is still out of work, and that he has been busy with his business. Fred is disappointed that they cannot meet up, but he is sure that he will be busy for the rest of the week. He plans to make a quiche for Chris and give it to him, even if he is not home.
