Back at school, the president of class one asks about the theatrical festival that's going on in his class. He tells them that he's singing very well and that he needs to prepare for his performance. He also tells them about his relationship with Cai Su. Cai Su used to be very good to him, but now she's not as good as she was before. Van doesn't know that Cai Su was so hard on him when he was a child, but he does know that she was very hard on herself when she was younger. Van thanks Cai Su for her kindness, and he hopes Cai Su will be able to leave the orphanage soon. He was adopted by his adoptive parents, and after he left the orphanage, he thought that he could live a normal life with his family. However, his adoptive father became addicted to gambling and lost all of his family's money. Since then, Cai Su has been helping Cai Su's adoptive father pay back his debts and take care of him.
