Chapter thirteen begins with a discussion between the teacher and the first-year student. The teacher tells the student that the group of students is about to run to death, and that the student should try harder the next time. The student, however, refuses to believe that he can be bullied, and the teacher tells him that he is in the "psychological association" and that his family doestes on him very much. He asks the student why he listens to the teacher's nonsense, and says that he does not know if he should teach the student a lesson
