About This Chapter
In this chapter, we find out that many of the things in the diary of Su Sushan are very much like the things that are written in the journal of the person whom we meet at the beginning of the chapter, named "Tang xin" . We learn that this person is named "Su Sushan" , and that she is the best friend of the protagonist of the novel, "Tung xin." We also learn that the protagonist's favorite book, "The Red Eagle," is said to have predicted the current state of affairs of the Chinese Empire thousands of years ago, without any accuracy. The protagonist asks the protagonist if he wants the book, and the protagonist replies that he doesn't want it, because the book predicted that he would be punched by the protagonist. He then tells the protagonist that he is here to invite him to join the "Red Eagle," a species of eagle that can hatch small birds and even enter the black and white eagle, the two species of birds that are native to the Chinese territory. If the protagonist does not want to join, he can hatch a small bird of his own, but he must be the vice-president of the Red Eagle.
