In the middle of the night, Shu's father invites the prince and his father to a dinner party. The prince is embarrassed to eat dinner, but he does not tell his father about it. Shu blames his father for breaking his leg and leaving him under the "naihe bridge" for so long. Shu says that his father is an evil leader in heaven, and that he is also responsible for harming the spirit realm because he had no self- motivation at all. Shu asks how rui came to study at the school, and the prince tells him that he met him after rui ran away from his home.
