Every night, baldy visits the house of Dr. Bledsoe to purify the dirt. During the practice, the doctor's breathing becomes very unstable. The doctor asks why the doctor didn't tell him about the poisoning, and the doctor explains that it's because the doctor sacrificed so much for him in the past. He asks the doctor if there's anything he can do for the doctor. The Doctor says that he can't do anything for the Doctor, even as a god, because the Doctor cannot do everything for him. He tells the Doctor that the six realms of the universe are about to hold general elections, and that there are lots of restless guys everywhere. They want to know the identity of the man they're looking for. They know that the man is a ferryman, but they don't know how to get rid of him, since he's so secretive. They ask the Doctor if he can tell them who the man really is. He's a tree named Cang. Cang was born on this tiny, blue planet, and lived his whole life there. He doesn't like being alone. He hopes someone will come and keep him company. He says that there is a "seed" on the blue planet that hasn't yet come from his family, but the doctor promises to put a tent for him so that he won't be wet.
