In this chapter, we are introduced to Longwang, a fish that has been living in the sea for thousands of years. Longwang tells us that he is not a fish, but a "rare beast" . He tells Longwang that he can find information about him on a single book, and Longwang is amazed at the fact that a "human-shaped fish" is living out in the water. He compares Longwang to a cat, and says that the cat got "dizzy" after only a few minutes of seeing him. He says that he has never seen such a rare creature before, and that it is interesting that there is a fish living out there. He also says that there are three other students in his class who have passed the test with a high score. He praises Longwang's class, saying that they are the only students in the class who respect their teacher and love their senior. He adds that Longwang should understand the "fundamentals" of being human, such as respect for teachers and love for his senior.
