About This Chapter
The teacher is confused by the horns on the student's head. He tells the student that he is mistaken. The student, however, says that he saw the horns with his own eyes. The teacher tells him that the horns are on his head, not on the other students'. He explains that the numbers on the class list are not the final grades of previous semesters or the information he received before starting classes. He is overwhelmed with information. He asks why the students seem to be so familiar with one another. He says that they have always had 15 students in their class. He also asks if the students have always been able to advance directly from the previous class without being recognized by the teacher. When the teacher asks where the fish in the teacher's fish tank is, the student says that the fish rolled its eyes. He then asks the teacher why he must have the student with him. He complains that the student will jump down the windowsill if he is placed on it
