In this chapter, we learn that the main character is called "Qi" and that he is a student in the class of "Shiliangsen." We also learn that his name is "qi" , which means "cheerful." The class monitor is the only person in the room with a single word name, and the only one with a name other than "sir" . The other students call him "qi" because of his cute name, but the class monitor refuses to call him by his real name because he is too boring to go back to school.
