This chapter opens with the familiar voice of a familiar person. It's the same voice that we heard in the previous chapter, but this time it's a different voice. The familiar voice asks the master to wake up. The master is awake, but he's not doing anything. He just wants to know how he came back from the dead. He doesn't remember where he heard the voice. He's also lost his sense of taste and memory for a year. The teacher interrupts and asks the students if they've finished their homework. They're all confused. They don't really know what to say, but the teacher tells them that they're exaggerating. He also asks if they were worried about the master last night, and they all say no. He asks if the teachers have stayed away from class this year because the students are all non-human beings. He then asks if this is the same class that he was in last year.
