In this chapter, we learn that the light bug's body is in such bad shape that it can no longer resist the attacks of the neurones. The light bug has been completely exterminated, and the ship is preparing to return to the green plane. The captain of the ship, who is the son of a natural genius, has been taken by the enemy and is destroying everything in his path.
