In this chapter, we learn that Teta Elzbieta is still waiting for a reply from her brother. She tells us that she still hasn't heard from him, and that she doesn't know what he's thinking. She says that her husband's "awesome economic strategy" has made it so that they don't have to rely on his money anymore. Teta says that she's always so famous that she shouldn't "smile too much" . She also says that humanity has evolved in the sense of clothing and fashion, which is why she needs to make her products more fashionable. She's worried that if they raise the price of her products, she'll lose market share. She adds that she almost died when her fashionista was seriously injured in a car crash. She asks Teta to help her make her clothes more fashionable, but Teta tells her not to do so, since they'll become the first "commercial star" on the planet. She then tells Teta that she threatened other princes who were higher in rank than hers, and they all have died or disappeared, and Teta wonders if Teta is so eager to know about their deaths or disappearance that he'll cross the line and kill them first. He says that if he does, things will annihilate him. He's not sure if this is a reference to the light worm or to Teta's own lower body, but he does know that he has given Teta his blood a lot, and he wonders why Teta always likes to torture him.
