Back at the palace, Cai-Li tries to convince her brother to stay and help prepare for her brother's arrival. She tells him that the vampires are at peace with each other, but that the werewolves are still at war with them. She warns him that if he leaves now, he will befriend the werewolves on the personal level, and that the conflict between them will become a flash point.
