Now that he's calmed down, Lanyan is ready to get on with his life. He's all, "You can leave, you can leave" , and he doesn't care if you're a vampire or not. He just wants to get back to his normal life, which is to be a good husband and father. He tells us that he originally agreed to marry Miss Lan because he wanted to "hold her back" and "figure out a way" to fix the problem. But now that she's married, he realizes that he can't take care of his son. So, he tells us, he wants to "stall her" and make her "get impatient" so that she won't marry him. And then, he says, he'll come back and "take you home" when the whole thing is over.
