Back at the hotel, the wolf thanks the innkeeper for giving him a seat. He asks if they know each other, and the innkeeper tells him that they do. He tells the wolf that his brother is planning to take over the family business. The wolf asks if he can help him. The innkeeper says that he can learn how to deal with the clan's affairs, and that he believes that xia will not let him down. When the wolf realizes that he is being treated badly, he lashes out at the innkeeper to defend xia. He then tells the innkeeper that he has been talking too much, and he apologizes for his rudeness. When he realizes that the ladies' room is in the distance, he decides to go back to the hotel to get the cover blown off his table.
