About This Chapter
It's nighttime, and the narrator is worried that he's going to be discovered. He tells the narrator to hurry up and get ready to go to sleep. He wants to know if the narrator wants him to sleep with him or not. The narrator says he doesn't know, but he wants to be with the narrator. He's worried that if they're discovered, they'll know what to do. He says he'll throw away the shirt he was planning to throw away, but that's not going to stop the narrator from sleeping with his uncle. He asks the narrator if he wants them to sleep together, but the narrator says no, and they should just go back to their rooms. He worries that if there's a hidden camera in the room, the narrator won't be able to see what's happening. He also worries that the narrator will be afraid of the fire if there is someone there. He tries to calm him down by saying that if he feels awkward, they can just put the brat to sleep and leave quickly. He then says that if the brat is asleep by now, it's because the narrator has a "typically vampiric side" , which means he has no blemishes on his skin.
