The narrator introduces us to Cai-Li and her fiance, Mr. McDreamy, who are on their way to the department store to buy some new clothes. They're so excited to see each other that they're all pretending to be in love with each other. Cai-Ling tries to convince her fiance to marry her, but she can't seem to get it together. She's all, "I'll get you a second ring later" .
