When the wolf returns home, he finds that the little girl has gone to the kitchen to make scallion pancakes. The little girl complains that her face is dirty and asks the wolf to go wash her face. The wolf insists that the girl eat at the kitchen table, but the girl refuses, saying that since she was a kid, she's never been allowed to eat at a table. The girl goes on to say that she feels weird when she eats at the table, because she always sits down and eats.
