"Bring a Home White Wolf" is the title of this chapter. It's the first time we've heard the name "wolf" in this novel, and it's also the name of one of the characters in the novel. The narrator tells us that he's a half-wolf, half-vampire. He's been sent a package by his sister-in-law, Miss Bai-Qi, who's on a trip to the "world" . She's sending him a "small radish" , which he hates because it reminds him of the nickname of his nephew, Mr. Brown. He doesn't know what to do with it, so he cries. "What the heck?" he asks, "what's it?" . "Huh?" he says. "I'm just half-a-wolf. I'm useless. I don't even know how to cry. I can't believe this is happening to me. I just brought a wolf home. It looks like he just ate all my savings. I need to get rid of this guy ASAP.
