This is a locked chapterCHAPTER 64: THOSE SEEKING REVENGE
About This Chapter
In this short scene, King Arthur's servant, the servant of Chaos, delivers a soliloquy in which he laments the fact that his master, the Prince of France, has acknowledged that he has lost. He laments that the Prince's defeat was the first step in the prince's "growing no" . The servant laments how he has been defeated by a wild horse, and wonders aloud how the Prince managed to get a girl like her into the lion's den. He wonders how the prince managed to "get someone like her" into the den, and he wonders aloud why the prince did not give him the opportunity to fight him. He also wonders why the Prince did not fight him one more time, for the sake of the "not a prince of little tristan." The servant wonders aloud if the prince has fled, and the prince tells him that he will go to the castle to find out what has happened.
